For this reason, we recommend you to collect the information on the following aspects early enough: • various exchange programmes available at the University • financing option for your study period abroad • recognition of the course work carried out abroad • finding the best time for studying abroad regarding your study plan • your tasks before and after your study period abroad • other requirements and opportunities for studying abroad uni-jena.de/en/information-studying-abroad Exchange programmes: ERASMUS+ and other programmes One of the most important programmes for studying abroad is the ERASMUS+ programme— an exchange programme for the EU member states. ERASMUS+ provides you with organizational and monthly financial support during your stay abroad. In the ERASMUS+ programme, you can either study or arrange an internship abroad. The International Office can advise you about the various options available as part of the ERASMUS+ programme, about other exchange programmes, and the corresponding financial support available.
